Poetry:
Into My Heart
Taken back, it's hard to breathe.
Your eyes, deep blue, vast and beautiful,
Shine brilliant light created for the first time.
Your lips move along as song flows
Suspended, I linger there long after; forever
You tread so lightly like a soft dance.
Lightly, gently, into my heart.
When you speak the world fades away
And I don't know why I deserve
To be graced by even just a glance.
But I promise against time and fate to be with you,
To carry you when you cannot walk,
And to hold you as you dream.
To sing into your heart
even when far away I seem.
