I've updated the progress I've made with my family of robots. I've also moved the videos to YouTube to free of space and bandwidth (Also helps with people that don't have DivX). Check out the progress and read the Reports for good how-to's and schematics. ROBI's main page

I have been working on a family of co-operative autonomous robots for a few months and have posted some information, progress, pictures, and movies. As I hit mile-stones I plan to update the site showing what I have accomplished. Eventually you will be able to see movies of the robots performing on media/demo day at UF, download the AutoCAD design for their mobile platforms, schematics of systems and sensors I've designed, as well as howto code and solutions to problems I've encountered.
You can see a short summary on the Electronics page or you can go to ROBI's main page.

I've also updated the About Me page with my new interestes: Bartending and Recurve Archery.

In one of my classes we are learning about FPGAs so I spent a day and made an Atari style Breakout game. I've always wanted to make an old video game from logic gates so I found the results (however primative) to be very rewarding. I also posted some new drawings I have done lately. Two of them are done with pastels; I really would like to be better at creating an impressionist style, but it's a start.

Recently, Sudoku was reviewed in a small internet article from the bangkok post. You can either search for "my Sudoku" in their Database section. For follow this link to the review.

I've been very busy with school lately. I just finished a summer of uP and OS. I am working on my last 20 credits! I designed and built two guitar distortion pedals which are featured on the Electrionics page. I also programmed a Sudoku class with a human style solver and puzzle creator. On top of this sits a OpenGL GUI that turns it in a fully featured game. It's completely freeware and offers many more features than most of the ones that make you pay. I am still working on the program but most sudoku players should be quite happy with the current level. Right now I am moding RC Planes and designing a digitally controlled/configurable analog effects pedal.

I also updated my Philosophy section under writings. I made alot of grammar corrections but I am trying to overhaul it to be more philosophically based. More about what I think and reason than what I feel. Being so I deleted Beauty and Love. I made alot of additions and deletions to the others as well. My plan is to organize them and to kind of keep each section updated with different thoughts and theories as they come to me.

Two new poems: A Boy as Drawn and Prove Affection. I drew a picture with my new Wacom tablet using Painter; although it's not done, I posted it in the Art section (Night Girl). I also updated the Math and Programming Projects section. I added new formulas to calculate Pi, and a Sorting Algorithm and Schematics Editing program respectively. Currently, I am working on the Schematics program, some poetry, and Pogo. Pogo is a robot my father build a few years ago. Recently, Pogo has become ill and my father let me work on him to see if I could find a fix. When I am done I will post more about Pogo but until then you should take a look at Pogo's homepage on my father's website.

Two new poems: Pretend and Chain Smoker. I got a digitizer tablet from Wacom, you can check out a picture I augmented in Photoshop using it here. There should be a new drawing very soon.

Lots of new things have happend recently. I took some more current pictures of myself which are on the updated about me page. I am in alot of really interesting classes like Solid State Electronics, Electromagnetic Fields I and Data Structures and Algorithms (yes, I took this class in high school... no ,they didn't give me credit). I am taking an interest in rock climbing, thanks to Cecilia. She really is the best friend I've ever had. I have so much fun with her =). Well, hope to add some new code, drawings and poetry soon.

(11/24/04)
I drew a new picture and signed up for one of those online journal things.

(10/31/04)
I drew a new picture and took photos of some I hadn't scanned awhile back. I also reordered all of them cronologically so you can see me improving.... hopefully =P. Check out the new pictures here.

I wrote a new poem and uploaded it (Drops of Jazz). Christina and I went out... but she broke up with me about a week ago... I suppose lots more poetry is to come. Oh, I updated my About Me picture. Who's that sexy man? =P

(06/18/04)
I wrote a new poem and uploaded it (The Trusting Little Boy). I drew a tattoo and photoshoped it onto my back. I have to save up alot of money, but I would really like to get it and am very happy with how it turned out. I haven't had the time to take screen shots of the Tenshi window manger or to finilize the code; but I am willing to email it to anyone that would like to take a look at it.

(06/12/04)
This is going to be brief. I met a new friend named Christina. I drew a really cool picture in the classes I should have been paying attention to =P. And over the break I finished the Window Manager for Linux. I will be uploading the source for all to see and use at will. Along with screen shots. I am very happy with the results =).

Alot has happend since summer started. To start, I joined the Reconfigurable Computing group (RC Group) which is a devision of the HCS (High-speed Computering and Simulation) deparment at UF. I am currently working on developing my new encryption method (using fractals wouldn't you guess) which will aide in finding how RC devices fit into crypography best. I am also working on CARMA (Cluster-based Approach to Reconfigurable Management Architecture) in such areas as application mapping, job scheduling, and optimizing slow code. My focus is broad right now, but in the next week or so I hope to dive into a specific area mentioned and start coding poetry =).

Website specific, I have added 2 new sections, Electronics and Math, to help encompass my deverse interests and work. New poetry (Tulip) and two new paintings (real ones this time =P) have also been posted.

(03/03/04)
I am not really sure how the site came down, but I fixed it. In addition, I finished a painting you can view in the art section. I am planning to add a new section to display the different electronics I have build and experimented with; such as autonomous robotics and BEAMS.

(01/23/04)
I have updated some content. Two more poems have been added and the Programming projects have been updated. New projects include a modular Window Manager for Linux that will look and feel much like the Tenshi windows theme and be fully customizable and minimalistic. I also worked on the Omega OS for a few weeks and I am now working on a micro kernal. Soon... Soon it should have functionality resembling early unix (pre-emptive multitasking r0x0r)

(01/22/04)
I just finished converting the old site format to the new design. The old website was done completly in flash and with alot of custom coding. However, I began to feel the drawbacks of doing a website completely in flash (especially when someone is linked to the site from a search engine they start at the main page rather than what they wanted). So I hope everyone enjoys this design as much or more than the last one. Thanks for all the compliments and support :).
